When it comes to boards, our experience has shown us that no two boards have exactly the same requirements. While we work on the perfect board set up, we think that the best option is to consider your specific requirements on a case by case basis.

While we do not yet provide board solutions, we recommend concrete paving slabs (455 x 455 mm) which can be bought from most building material supply stores. This makes the board size around 4.11 x 4.11 m with 10 mm grout between slabs.

We recommend painting only the dark squares as the light or white will show dirt fairly quickly. Roof paint directly onto the cement slab works well and two coats are recommended.

Painting is recommended after the cement has been allowed to dry. Full strength is achieved after a week or so and some light watering can be applied.
